They probably took it as Celine leaving rather than acceptance. CN’s complaints about being out of character are always revolving around characters not being the ideal ones they themselves make in the community. Having her imprint something on her like that is a nice touch. The entire point of her meeting Celine again was that she accepts her for who she is and what she was, that leads to her ascension. The GK pose definitely is a loss, the new animation looks stupid like a random dispersion. Maybe combine them for v3 because the slash break looked like it hit for way harder.
BAYONETTA POSE CRACK
The stretch pose gave character, showed her confidence and was a nice touch but the follow up crack wasn’t as powerful as with v2. The animations are all pretty well done, the ones we lose in v2 hurt though for the stretch pose and GK sit. It lacks impact and uniqueness in its look. That alone should tell you a lot about it’s design. But there’s rarely a suit release that causes this much variance in opinion on its visuals. People keep saying it references this and that and there’s so many little details, sure yes we recognize those upon closer inspection. The suit alone doesn’t give a wow impression just on normal glance. They don’t need to add much (like I said the wings added a lot) but at least give it uniqueness beyond the animation. The colour being purple is neat and looks nice, but the suit itself looks bland because of time runner before it. The wings they added in v2 help it a lot though. The design of the suit itself is lacking for various reasons, you can mistake it for a time runner swap. But if you want thoughts on the adjustments mine are pretty much this: My comment will likely be no different since people aren’t going to take critiques of things they like, they’ll just downvote it. Well all of the threads people have been posting about CN are pretty much hate threads at this point, most of the “discussion” isn’t really there due to how downvoting and upvoting really works.
